Clients & Case Studies
Wise. Courageous. Devastatingly attractive. And that's just you.
We're extremely gratified to have worked with many big-name brands, whether they're solely online operations (such as Hotels.com) or established high street stores with an online presence (such as Boots and Clarks).
We're keen to help all businesses that realise the importance of ecommerce make the best of their websites, whether global brands or niche specialists. Is it obvious that 'make the best of' means 'make the most money from'? Because that's what we're going for.
Here are a few of those we've helped so far:
-
Hotels.com
We've been working with Hotels.com for a number of years, during which we've helped them accomplish many extraordinary things. We've helped with SEO strategy development and the provision of an Interim Global SEO Director (in the shape of our very own Steve); conducted an extensive Botmunch project, which saw double-digit SEO growth; reintroduced territory sites, including es, pt, uk and au; and we're still working with them today, helping with things like Provider and our Spamfink risk management service.
-
Screwfix
We've carried out a twelve month (and counting) Taxonomy project for Screwfix, in which we built a complete picture of the search demand in Screwfix's market. And before that, we provided strategic technical advice and support, which saw year-on-year increases of unbranded, organic search visits of 42%. Not that we're bragging or anything.
-
Fine & Rare Wines
A (grape vine) root and branch project supporting the development of a completely new website covering the technical build and multiple Taxonomies of both the general wine market and the fine wine marketplaces.
"Taxonomics helped Fine+Rare to see the true untapped potential of Google for the fine wine market."
Jamie Seedhouse Head of Ecommerce -
Ofcom
We provided subject matter expertise for a major report on search engine technology, markets and development, feeding into the latest Communications Bill.
"Taxonomics provenancial contribution was always insightful and thought provoking, allowing much deeper thinking around the subject."
Patrick Tarpey Principal Technical Advisor -
Clarks Shoes
We conducted a rather smashing Taxonomy for the footwear marketplace, and provided strategic technical advice and support during a major rebuild of Clarks' ecommerce platform.
"The Taxonomics team were able to advise us up front on a significant restructuring of our ecommerce website in order to optimise for search performance. We have made significant advancements thanks to this advice."
Tim Goody Ecommerce Systems Project Manager -
Lloyds Banking Group
We've conducted several banking-shaped Taxonomies for Lloyds TSB and Halifax.
-
Goldsmiths
We went all Taxonomy in the jewellery sector, with a big old focus on watches.
-
Iglu Cruises
We helped this cruise company figure out where the biggest demand for cruises is, with an in-depth Taxonomy.
-
Boots
Boots had the pleasure of a top-level Taxonomy of the health & beauty marketplace, which supported both content creation and information architecture. A deep dive into mascara (not literally, guys) helped with detailed content improvements, too.
-
The Open University
We conducted a six month Taxonomy project, which built a complete picture of UK search demand for further and higher education. Wowza.
-
Jimmy Choo
Ever wanted to have a complete overview of the search demand for Jimmy Choo products in the UK? So did Jimmy Choo, so we gladly stepped in with a brand-focussed Taxonomy.
-
Lacoste
Lacoste wanted a similar thing to Jimmy Choo. Except, you know—they wanted to know about UK search demand for their own footwear. Enter: another brand-focussed Taxonomy.
